Argyll is run as a family home, in which we try to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for the twenty or more girls in our care. The house parents, Dr and Mrs Brooks, head the staff team. In addition, two house tutors and six assistant house staff work on a shift basis during the day and in the evenings, sharing responsibility for the care and welfare of the girls with the house parents. One of the strengths of living in the boarding community is the support from staff which helps develop the independence and confidence our children need to prepare them for the challenges of adult life.
