House Pupils' Comments
- Every effort is made to ensure that the girls enjo
 y
the time in the House, and they are regularly given
the opportunity to attend House outings. Typically this
would include bowling, cinema, ice skating and meals
out, but may also include attending international rugby matches at Murrayfield.
- Birthdays are celebrated by the giving of a cake and cards from all in the House .
- Regular events throughout the year include a Hallowe'en
Party, Christmas Party, Pantomime Trip, Christmas Shopping,
Boarders Christmas Meal & Ceilidh and a
Shopping Trips during the Winter Term. The Summer Term
events include Sports Weekend which incorporates a sherry
party on the Saturday and family barbecue on the Sunday,
obviously dependent upon the weather.
- Some of the major events such as the Chinese New Year
Party, theatre trips and ceilidhs, are undertaken i
 n
collaboration with the other boarding houses, strengthening
the community feeling for boarders within the Academy.
