Perth Concert Hall welcomes Dollar Academy

For the third year running, Dollar Academy held its Christmas Carol Concert in Perth Concert Hall on Wednesday 10 December.  The event was a sell-out, with many local residents snapping up tickets along with the eager parents and grandparents of Academy pupils. 

The standard was exceptional and the evening was rounded off with a spectacular performance of Carl Orff's challenging and popular Carmina Burana. The power and tension of the music was brought to life by an energetic and theatrical percussion section, backed by dramatic lighting and the haunting solo performances of Daniel Fletcher and Carla Chiappa.
