Senior Citizens' Coffee Morning
On Friday 14th December, Dollar Academy Charities Committee hosted a coffee morning for Dollar’s more mature citizens. A fine selection of cakes and biscuits were provided by the dining hall catering staff and these were much appreciated by the Academy’s guests. Tea and coffee was served by Committee members throughout the morning. Entertainment was provided by the Chamber Choir who performed a selection of Christmas carols which created a festive atmosphere for everyone. The high praise received from many of the mornin'’s visitors was greatly appreciated by the pupils of the Academy who greatly enjoyed the organising of this worthwhile event.
