Junior School Annual Science Fair
Wednesday 27th February was a special day for the 103 competitors of the 2008 Science Fair. Each competitor set out their own individual work which they had spent several weeks preparing and, later, explained their experiment to each highly prestigious judge and answered their questions with confidence.
"As soon as I saw the other entries, I knew straight away that there would be stiff competition. From my point of view I thought every person there was a winner. Each of us sat patiently as the judges, who came from all around Scotland and even England, came to speak to us. They then deliberated long and hard to select two winners from each class and an overall winner in the Fair. Later in the afternoon, when parents, grandparents and friends arrived, the Assembly Hall buzzed with excited conversation. This was a day we would all remember!"
