National Poetry Day On Thursday 4th October, Dollar Academy once again celebrated National Poetry Day. In keeping with the 'Treasure Island' theme of the 'One Dollar-One Book' project, a huge range of poems was chosen by pupils before being put into bottles and hung on the traditional ‘Poet-tree’, creating a wonderful work of art. The day was a great success and enjoyed by all.
