Award-Winning Teen Author Visits Forms II and III

Form II and Form III pupils recently enjoyed a visit from award winning Scottish author, Cathy Forde.  Cathy has written a number of popular books for young adults, including 'Fat Boy Swim', 'The Drowning Pond', 'Skarrs' and 'L-L-L-Loser' (a particular favourite with Dollar pupils).  During her visit Cathy shared her experiences of writing and offered advice on how to improve creative writing skills.  Pupils enjoyed learning about the life of an author, particularly when they learned that Cathy works every day 'till lunchtime in her pyjamas.
